Erasing pixels

Use the Eraser tool to remove pixels or color over pixels with a different color.

To erase pixels:

1	Double-click the Eraser tool to open the Eraser tool Options panel.
2	Set the eraser color in the Erase To pop-up menu:
	Transparent sets the eraser as transparent.
	Fill Color selects the color in the fill color well.
	Stroke Color selects the color in the stroke color well.
	Canvas Color selects the canvas color of the document.
3	Choose a round or square eraser.
4	Drag the Edge Softness slider to set the softness of the eraser's edge.
5	Drag the Eraser Size slider to set the size of the eraser.
6	Drag the Eraser tool over the pixels you want to erase or paint over with a different color.
